District Projection Summary
These reports provide a visual display of how students are projected to perform on a selected future assessment based on their prior testing histories.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no testing in the spring of 2020, so the projection reports changed as follows:
- All projections assume the 2019 average schooling experience.
- Projections to grade-level assessments are made to one grade out.
Projections for grade 4 math and ELA use two predictors rather than three.
These reports can help administrators:
- Allocate resources for sustained interventions, supports, and enrichment opportunities for students
- Make course placement and scheduling decisions
- Plan comprehensive school improvement programs
Teachers can use these reports to help with instructional planning.
- View the proportion of students on the path to academic success
- View the proportion of students at risk for not reaching proficiency or advanced levels of performance
- Collaborate with other educators on instructional strategies and classroom practices for groups of students
Projections to college readiness assessments can help educators:
- Assess students' college readiness
- Identify students who need additional support to increase their chances for college success
- Allocate resources for sustained interventions, supports, and enrichment opportunities for students
- Assist students with their college planning and course placement choices
